World Bank to loan Kenya USD 1.5bn for energy, water and transport

The World Bank has granted the Kenya government 1.5 billion dollars an equivalent of 124 billion Kenya shillings, set to fund various projects in infrastructure, energy and water resources. The funding will be spread across a period running from 2012 to 2014. It is expected to finance key projects aligned to the country development blue print vision 2030. NTV’s Aby Agina reports.

I really love this guy and I’m going to try to put up his whole season at Swansea on YouTube.
Wasn’t the brightest of debuts, coming on at the 65.min, but we can surely expect more from the young lad in the future.

He had 26 passes during this match, and 25 of them were sucessful. But what is more important, he made some passes forward not just sideways or backwards. His play style fits Swansea’s style.

Occupy Wall Street and Student Loans

According to Prof. Chris Coyne, one of the main concerns of the Occupy Wall Street movement is the rising cost of college and student loans. If student loans were forgiven, however, it wouldn’t solve the fundamental problem of costly education.

A government program that forgave student loans would improve the finances of people holding student Loans, but it would do so at the expense of taxpayers in America. Many of these taxpayers would fall within the 99%.

Furthermore, by seeking bailouts for student loans, the Occupy Wall Street movement is fundamentally no different than the banks and corporations that they’re criticizing.

Should i take home loan from a bank the builder is suggesting?

I am planning to buy a flat on bank loan. I’ve checked with various banks about my eligibility and it’s fine.Builder in whose building i’ll buy flat, is insisting that i take Loan from a particular bank which has already approved his project. He says it will cut hassles for him and loan will get processed faster. Do you think it’s fine to go with the bank builder is suggesting? Or should i go with different bank as it will again check all the legal docs of building?

If a project is approved by a Bank, then there will be no further legal check, thus reducing the process time. So it is better to go with the Bank where the project is already approved if there is no difference in interest rates.
